Hey Portland! In the spirit of independence and the upcoming Fourth of July festivities, we’re heading to Maywood Park — the city within a city. It was the construction of I-205, not taxation on tea, that pushed the neighborhood to incorporate in 1967. If you’ve driven by it a hundred times and never heard its story, there’s a reason for that. Let’s dig in.
