The beloved neighborhood bar that hosted weekly community events says it’s closed for “Staff Meeting & Maintenance” after 18 years on East Burnside. But a former EastBurn employee told Portland Mercury that business has been slow and the closure is permanent. [Portland Mercury]

Local Bakery Objects to New Charter School Neighbor

Clackamas Web Academy wants to convert the former Bob’s Red Mill store and cafe in Milwaukie into a K-12 charter school.
