📍 Why you should visit Concordia this weekend
May 24, 2026 · — Ben McBee
It’s Memorial Day weekend — the only weekend of the year you can book a guided tour inside the hallowed halls of Wilhelm’s Mausoleum. If you’re looking for something even more exclusive, visit the Rae Room, the stately tomb of one of Oregon’s richest (and most scandalous) men, which you can only visit on Monday. Keeping with the theme of looking to the past, in today’s newsletter, we’re heading to Concordia for the Vanport Mosaic Festival.
