Food Cart Up for Sale After Chef Denied Reentry to US

The food cart Reeva Café y Cocina a la Leña is up for sale for $50,000 while the owner remains in Mexico. Roberto Hernandez Guerrero is seeking a visa to return to the U.S., where he has lived for more than 20 years. Oregon Farmers Expand Hazelnut Acres

Demand for hazelnuts has grown — and so has the amount of Oregon land devoted to growing the nuts (known commonly here as filberts). The number of acres has more than doubled in the last decade, even as farmland has decreased by 10% since 2002. Industry experts expect Oregon’s hazelnut harvest to continue to increase — tripling in the next six or seven years, despite the expensive investment and long wait for trees to bear fruit.
