Tigard Mayor Resigned Abruptly

Tigard Mayor Heidi Lueb resigned on Tuesday night following an investigation into workplace complaints from city employees and fellow city councilors. Lueb, elected in 2022, was the first woman to serve in the role. [OPB]

More than half the region is experiencing an extreme or severe drought, with 80% experiencing drought. Conditions are still better than they were during 2021. [Oregon Capital Chronicle]
