$50K Donation to Psilocybin

The alternative soap company Dr. Bronner’s has added to its long-standing support of psilocybin and drug-policy reform. The company gave $50,000 to the Central Oregon treatment center Bendable Therapy at a time when centers are facing a financial crunch. [Willamette Week]

The Reason for Oregon Rebate Opposition

A state analysis shows that Measure 118 could divert tax dollars from the general fund in paying a $1,600 rebate to every Oregonian if passed. That concern is part of why every major political player in Oregon is lining up to oppose the measure, though backers disagree — and say even if it’s true, there’s a legislative fix. [OPB]
