What's CITY Talking About?
Vote on Proposed Ambulance Fix
On Thursday, Multnomah County commissioners are scheduled to vote on a possible fix to slow ambulance response times. The proposal would make it possible to send out more ambulances by changing the existing staffing requirements — to one paramedic and (in place of a second paramedic) an EMT, who has less training. It’s not clear the proposal has the necessary support to pass. [Willamette Week]
Local Democrat Calls for Biden To Resign Now
