The Story of a Stranger-Than-Fiction Portland Crime
The murder of a popular teacher at the Oregon Culinary Institute in 2018 became one of the most astounding true crime stories Oregon had seen in decades. The big plot twist: the murderer had previously written suspenseful romance novels with remarkably similar details to her crime. Also, she was Dan Brophy’s wife, Nancy. Heidi Joy Tretheway, host of the new podcast “Happily Never After: Dan and Nancy” talks about the ways fact and fiction blended together in this unexpected saga.

And now we’re back into the routine of a normal week. I’ll see you tomorrow!
