🌋 A forest fire is growing near Mount Hood
July 12, 2023
Good morning, Portland! Have you watched the video of the Portland police officer’s apology? As a settlement for an assault charge, he apologized for hitting a protester in the head in 2020.

Forest Fire Updates
A forest fire southeast of Mount Hood has grown to more than 200 acres over the last few days, but 200 firefighters and four helicopters are working to contain it. Investigators have not yet determined the cause of that fire. Meanwhile, the Tunnel 5 fire on the Washington side of the Gorge is now mostly contained. [Oregonian]
