Here’s this week’s update on our city’s vibrant restaurant and bar scene:

⭐ Eater Portland’s Hottest Portland Restaurants

Two new restaurants have made Eater Portland’s best new restaurants list since last month’s update. The Paper Bridge (which serves North Vietnamese food on the Eastside) and Coredam (a Korean spot in Beaverton). (Tip: There’s a long wait time for Coredam: Be prepared to arrive 30 minutes before it opens, Eater Portland advises.)

Two tasty food carts — Tokyo Sando and Bing Mi — announced plans to close up shop in December. But now they’re reopening at Downtown’s Midtown Beer Garden, which itself opened last year. [Oregonian 🔒]

$10 for a Pourover Coffee? ☕

Portland, of course, has more than our share of coffee shops — fully double the national average with nearly 30 cafes per 100,000 Portlanders. Among the options are some spendy and tasty beans from Proud Mary. Some coffee purveyors argue that a good brew deserves to be treated like fine wine. [Portland Monthly]
